We are now expanding our consolidation operations to a new market by opening a new office in Gdynia. The expansion is a part of our long-term ambition to grow our business, strengthen our position in Europe, and improve our service offer.
Our core business is LCL (Less than Container Load) services. As a neutral consolidator, our priority is to optimise container space, reduce empty mileage, lower emissions, and minimise environmental impact.
Poland is the sixth largest economy in Europe and a major player in producing key commodities for the future mobility and automotive industry. With a local presence in Gdynia, we will strengthen our network in Europe, improve our services to and from Asia and North American markets, and be better equipped to meet our customers’ needs.
Earlier this year, Greencarrier Consolidators opened a new office in Hamburg, another strategic location that will function as a gateway for the Nordic and European markets and support both import and export cargo to and from different markets. To develop and grow the new offices in Hamburg and Gdynia, Tim Jurischka has been appointed as CEO for the Central and Eastern European Region.
“Poland is a strategically important location to connect our eastern presence with the gateway in Hamburg, which will improve our customers’ goods flow via the gateway and with direct connections to and from Asia and North America,” says Tim Jurischka, CEO CEE Region Greencarrier Consolidators.
Our ambition is to start the business in Gdynia already by the end of the third quarter with our own office and staff.
