The Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) season runs from the 1st of September 2023 until the 31st of May 2024. This means that all bookings from the 1st of September will incur a fumigation fee for all high-risk countries.

The Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) is an agricultural pest that feeds on, and can severely damage, fruit, and vegetable crops. It can spread via oceangoing vessels as it seeks shelter from cold weather during the winter months and tend to find their way into shipping containers.
